ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Dwight Howard’s elbow has given the Orlando Magic’s playoff hopes a major hit.
Howard has been suspended for Game 6 of the Magic’s playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers for his elbow on Sixers center Samuel Dalembert, the NBA announced Wednesday.
The two got tangled up going for a rebound in the first quarter in Game 5 on Tuesday night. Replays showed Howard threw an elbow that hit Dalembert above the shoulders. Howard drew a technical foul for the hit.
Orlando will also be without starting guard Courtney Lee, who suffered a fractured sinus after taking an inadvertent elbow [...]

Howard suspended for Game 6
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Starting guard Courtney Lee will miss Game 6 of the Orlando Magic’s playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Magic said Wednesday that Lee had a fractured sinus after taking an elbow to the head from teammate Dwight Howard in Game 5 on Tuesday night. Lee’s status for the remainder of the playoffs is uncertain.
Howard soared to block a shot by Willie Green in the first quarter and inadvertently came down on his teammate. Lee was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—Orlando Magic starting shooting guard Courtney Lee left Game 5 against the Philadelphia Sixers in the first quarter after taking a blow to the head.
Lee took an elbow to his head from teammate Dwight Howard early in the period. Howard soared to block a shot by Willie Green on the play and came down on his teammate. Lee was on the floor for a few minutes before going to the locker room with a towel to his head.
The Magic said his return was questionable.
Lee, a rookie from Western Kentucky, averaged 15.7 points through the first four games.
