Should he stay, or should he go?

Stan Van Gundy seen during an unsuccessful attempt to fly.

There seems to be a lot of unhappy Magic fans directing their anger at, head coach, Stan Van Gundy.  Style Points has a blog, humorously, suggesting other jobs for him, after the finals loss against the Lakers.

Van Gundy was heavily criticized during the finals for giving, a rusty, Jameer Nelson playing time over Rafer Alston and Anthony Johnson.  However, that wasn’t his only playoff blunder.  Many blamed him for Lebron James being able to take the game winning shot in game two of the conference finals, by not having a defender guarding the inbound pass, and by putting Hedo Turkoglu on James.

It’s easy to have mixed emotions about Stan Van Gundy.  Even with those mistakes he still managed to coach the Magic to the finals.  Even after losses, that could kill the confidence of many teams, the Magic were able to bounce back.

I had a post bitching about a lot of his mistakes, but we have to keep him. He's still one of the best coaches in the league right now.

The biggest mistake was not having the guys foul in game 4 when they were up 3. You have to trust your guys enough to hit freethrow to keep the lead. Derick Fisher tore our hearts out with that three. Plus, guess who was guarding him...Jameer Nelson, an out-of-rhythm player fresh off an injury. I think he should stay, but be on probabtion. He made many decisions in the playoffs that probably cost the Magic their first championship trophy!

Lol @ Levi Yea Puttin Hedo On Lebron I Didnt Understand And Playin Jameer Ova Johnson And Alston I Really Hate That Couldn't Understand That Either He Kinda Blew The Finals With That One But What Other Better Coaches Do You Have To Take His Place? I Think He Should Stay...

You're right, it is easy to have mixed feelings about him. For example, I can't decide whether he'd make a better used car salesman or convenience store clerk.
