Hedo Backing Out of Portland Deal For Toronto?
So now Turk will be a Raptor?
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of yahoo.com, Hedo Turkoglu is backing out of the commitment he made to the Portland Trail Blazers and is now considering signing with the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors are thought to be offering Turkoglu $55 million over 5 years. This would contrast other reports that said the Raptors offered Shawn Marion a 4 year deal. His deal would said to be worth over $32 million.
There seems to be no chance of Turkoglu in Portland now. The negotiations are said to be dead and they have turned their attention to other players.
The Oregonian has learned that free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu has rejected an offer to sign with the Trail Blazers and has ended negotiations with the team.
He will leave town tomorrow morning.

The Raptors probably could not afford both players. Could this spell a Turkoglu return in Orlando? It’s highly unlikely, but who knows? Just a few hours ago, he was a done deal to Portland.
