
Biran Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel reported that the Orlando Magic have added two more players to their training camp roster.
As reported earlier, Forward Linton Johnson will be at camp.
The Magic have also added Guard Morris Almond. Almond played in 25 games for the Utah Jazz last season, earning one start. He averaged 3.7 ppg and 1.4 rpg in 10.3 mpg. Almond is 6’6, is just 24 years old and attended college at Rice. Almond has been an excellent player in the D-League, averaging over 25 ppg there.
In other news, Marcin Gortat’s Polish national team was eliminated from EuroBasket 2009 by Pau Gasol and Spain today.
Training camp opens in under two weeks.
