I don't see Marcin being traded until after the season.
There is a rumor circulating about the possibility of Magic Center Marcin Gortat being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. There is an article discussing the possibility that you can see here, but it may be hard to read because I believe it is written in Serbian.
The article pretty much says that Gortat thinks that he may get traded to Oklahoma City.
At least this is what Gortat apparently told Nenad Krstic during EuroBasket 2009, among other things. Krstic went on to say that Gortat asked Krstic what it was like to play in Oklahoma City and told him that he would be the 5 (Center) and Krstic would be the 4 (Power Forward).
I don’t see this happening. You would think that the Magic would have to get an incredible package that at the very least would contain a first round pick. Some players that Orlando could be interested in are Power Forward Nick Collison or former Chicago Bulls swingman Thabo Sefolosha. Collison has been on Orlando’s radar for in the past.
The Magic decided to keep Gortat for several reasons and I believe that one of the is the desire to win a championship now. Gortat is an important piece of the roster. I really think the he will play the entire upcoming season with the Magic. I think that this rumor is probably false.

It would be a shrewd move for Presti to acquire the Polish Hammer. Certainly an upgrade over Etan Thomas...
