Hawks Magic Basketball

The Orlando Magic will play host to a divisional rival – the Atlanta Hawks, live from Amway Arena tonight. The game starts at 8:00 PM EST and will be shown on ESPN.

I’ll be in attendance so check the site for updates and analysis and follow me on twitter (@howardthedunk).

Update: Tania Ganguli reported that both Ryan Anderson and Mickael Pietrus will start tonight.

Stan Van Gundy’s starting five for tonight will look familiar (well… maybe not look familiar to most of you who will see the Magic on TV for the first time tonight on ESPN). He’s starting Mickael Pietrus and Ryan Anderson along with Dwight Howard, Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson.

When asked why this wouldn’t be the starting lineup come opening day on Wednesday, Van Gundy said it could go either way.

I wish I had found this before. :(

Plus, Brandon Bass and Jason Williams. I like AJ, he's a good guy, but J-Will is a better player.

Think, we went into the playoffs with Skip and AJ, now it's Jameer and J-Will. Serious upgrade.

If Orlando winds up #1 in the east, Otis will probably win the award.

LOL did forget to mention the 2 starter vc? LOL yah Smith had just a terrible year this year... we really blew it by letting Hedo go..... or so everyone said... what a terrible trade! an old washed up vc and some throw in named Anderson....yah dumb ass Smith what ever was he thinking of! and paying all of that money to keep Gortat AND pulling the string AFTER securing Barns.... yup he sure is a dumb ass all right!

WE will see but i have this feeling......... he just might have to be mentioned when it comes to picking the GM of the year....
