Orlando Magic Celebrate Their Past With NBA Hardwood Classics Nights

Miss the old-school pinstripes? Don’t fret. The Magic will be breaking them out several times this season. Here’s the official word from the Orlando Magic.

THE ORLANDO MAGIC CELEBRATE THEIR PAST

WITH NBA HARDWOOD CLASSICS NIGHTS

- Orlando Magic Among Seven NBA Teams to Honor Their History with Retro Uniforms, Special Events and Promotions -

ORLANDO – The Orlando Magic and six other NBA teams will celebrate their history with a series of retro games titled NBA Hardwood Classics Nights (HWCN) that will tip off Wednesday, Dec. 2. As part of the celebration, seven teams including the Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz will honor the history of basketball in each city by wearing uniforms from various decades of the NBA’s history, and having special ceremonies, in-arena entertainment and promotions.

All Orlando Magic Hardwood Classics jerseys are available for purchase at www.orlandomagicshop.com. NBA Hardwood Classics Nights will run through March 31, 2010 featuring 62 games with 19 televised on ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV.
