- The Magic points on had a much better quarter. They scored 26 10-of-20 shooting.
- J.J. Redick hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to the tie the game at the conclusion of the quarter. He has 8 points in the game.
- Rashard Lewis scored 10 points 4-of-6 shooting in the quarter. He was 2-of-3 from downtown.
- The Magic can’t stop Brandon Roy. He has 27 points.
- Orlando has really turned it up on both sides of the ball in the paint.
Halftime: Portland leads 44-39
- The Magic just can’t get it going on offense. After shooting 7-of-17 from the field in the first quarter, they shot 6-of-21 in the second quarter.
- Portland isn’t shooting much better, going 17-of-43 from the field.
- Jason Williams is the only player shooting the ball well at all. He’s 4-of-5 and has 10 points.
- Brandon Roy leads all scorers with 12 points. Jerryd Bayles has 10 points.

- The Magic didn’t score in the first four minutes of the game.
