Per the Orlando Sentinel, Vince Carter has a sprained left shoulder and is listed as doubtful to return in Friday night’s game against the Washington Wizards.
With 4:25 to play in the second quarter, Carter ran into big man Andray Blatche, who was setting a screen. He was on the ground for a while before finally being helped to the locker room by Orlando’s trainers.
Update: Paul Kennedy just reported that Carter’s x-rays were negative, which means he hasn’t broken anything. He will be evaluated further as the night goes on.
