Bulls Point Guard Derrick Rose bruised his hip in a collision with Magic Center Dwight Howard early in the first quarter of Wednesday night’s game.
Rose was injured when he ran into Orlando’s Dwight Howard on a drive to the basket, and fell hard onto his back. Rose made the basket and converted the free throw before leaving the game to get examined by team officials.
It was announced before the end of the first period that Rose would not return to the game.
