Dwight Howard didn’t put up huge numbers at the All-Star game but he certainly had some highlights. You can read about Howard’s game here.
Dwight Howard is sick of this superman controversy that Shaq has created.
“Well, I’m just going to continue to play basketball. There’s no beef between — I don’t have any problems against him. The whole Superman thing, there’s no battle of nicknames. I mean, if he wants to be Superman, he can be Superman. But I never tried to steal that title from him or take away anything that he’s done for the game of basketball.
“I would like, instead of people fighting over a nickname, for us to be able to talk about what it’s like to win a championship. Just little things that him being who he is can help me. But I never tried to do anything to be like him. I’m my own person. I just love to have fun, and I have a lot of respect for him and what he’s brought to the game of basketball, and I would just ask that somebody like Shaquille O’Neal to help me become a better basketball player and a better person.”

John Krolik of Cavs: The Blog tells where Dwight Howard’s Superman really came from.
Dwight Howard would like Shaq to back off the Superman stuff. Has nobody mentioned that Howard named himself after the Soulja Boy song (language and content of linked article R-rated), not the superhero? That should factor into this somehow, I feel.

Dwight Howard is in the running for “Stud of the week” and Mike Bianchi calls him the favorite.
My early favorite for Stud of the Week is Dwight Howard, who incredibly made his way into the Guinness Book of World Records during All-Star Weekend when he made a shot from more than 52 feet away while sitting down on the floor (check out the video above). Or you could give a Stud to the entire NBA All-Star Game, which was won 141-139 by the East and drew an awe-inspiring 108,713 fans to Cowboys Stadium in Dallas — the biggest crowd ever to watch a basketball game.

Phillip Rossman-Reich tells us what to look for from the Magic coming out of the break.
It has been quite a bumpy road. But a lot has been accomplished in that time. Orlando won the season series against Boston, including winning both games at the TD Garden. The team also won three games — in convincing fashion, no less — against its chief competition for the division. The Hawks sit 1.5 games behind the Magic, but have that extra game to make up having lost the tiebreaker. Amway Arena has also become a difficult place to play. Orlando is 20-5 at home.
It would be nice to see the Magic play better against the Cavaliers and Lakers, but they will have their opportunities to get them in the second half.
