AUTHOR: | IN: News, Orlando Magic | COMMENTS: None Yet

There will be plenty of parking at the new Amway Center but it won’t come cheap. If you can snag a spot in one of the two garages on either side of the new home of the Orlando Magic, it will cost $20, or double the charge for close-by spaces at the old arena. But with a bit of a walk, you can cut that price in half to $10 by taking advantage of the 11 garages and several surface lots nearby. All told, about 7,400 spots arewithin a five-minute walk of the center. That’s more than enough, Orlando transportation [...]

AUTHOR: | IN: News, Orlando Magic | COMMENTS: None Yet

Kelly Dwyer of Ball Don’t Lie got a chance to catch up with Magic Center Dwight Howard. Kelly Dwyer: I kind of want to get right to what bugs me the most – do you think those who are giving you the most criticism about your post game actually know how hard it is to be a post player in this league, in 2010? With the legal zone and, more or less, legal flopping? Dwight Howard: I think those guys have never really played basketball. I find it entertaining, very funny, that those who have never played the game are [...]

A Quick Rundown Of “Building Magic”

AUTHOR: | IN: Orlando Magic | COMMENTS: None Yet

Once again Jameer Nelson has taken several of his teammates to his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (well he’s officially from Chester, PA). This year, per Vince Carter’s twitter, Nelson was joined by Carter and both the newly acquired Chris Duhon and Quentin Richardson,  among others. Sure the players have fun – once again they hung out at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and took batting practice with the Phillies. Nelson also mentioned the team ate at his favorite restaurant – Devon – and went bowling. But it’s about getting to work as well. The players also hit the track early [...]

Nuggets Ready To Trade Carmelo Anthony

AUTHOR: | IN: Orlando Magic, Rumors | COMMENTS: 5 Comments

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Nuggets are ready to trade Carmelo Anthony. Denver was furnished with a short list of teams and told to get to work. Yes, this how William Wesley and Leon Rose of CAA work now, thick with threats and ultimatums and a swagger suggesting that the sport belongs to them. This wasn’t a productive, nor particularly pleasant, meeting and multiple sources said it [...]
