The Orlando Magic will look to get back on the right track when they play host to the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday afternoon. The Orlando Magic and New Orleans Hornets have made a habit of playing in close, highly contested games. Nothing changed on Friday night. Once again the two teams went down to the wire. The Magic overcame a 12-point second half deficit but couldn’t hold on, losing 99-93. The Magic didn’t play bad in the first quarter but couldn’t contain Chris Paul. The Magic will look to win their third straight game when they host the New Orleans Hornets Friday night. The Magic have not been playing very well but have improved to 34-20 after their 99-95 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday night. The Hornets haven’t been playing well either, losing six of their last seven games, including four in a row. The last time these two teams met, the Hornets put an end to Orlando’s nine-game winning streak with a 92-89 overtime victory. Chris Paul is coming to Orlando to play against the Orlando Magic tonight.  Didn’t your mother teach you to not fall for potentially misleading  headlines? The Magic and Hornets face off tonight at 7pm at the Amway Center.  The game will be televised locally on Sun Sports. The Magic are listed as 9 point favorites tonight as New Orleans will be lacking Emeka Okafor.  Apparently Vegas does not think that Aaron Gray and David Anderson can match up well with Dwight Howard.
