Here is the official word from the Magic: Orlando Magic Tips Off Magic Volunteer Program with Two Community Projects on September 9   The Orlando Magic tipped off its 2011-12 Magic Volunteer Program with two community projects on Friday, September 9 visiting the Christian Service Center and the Community Food and Outreach Center. Notes On Hedo Turkoglu & Turkey’s Loss To France

Hedo Turkoglu scored 13 points in Turkey’s 68-64 loss to France Wednesday. You can read the box score here. Several different outlets have notes on the game. Hedo Turkoglu Heading Overseas?

About a month back, Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu was tied with Turkish club Anadolu Efes. Now Besiktas TV as translated by Hoops Hype, is reporting Turkoglu is fielding offers from teams both in Spain and Turkey: Mete Aktas: According to Besiktas TV basketball editor Kubilay Keceli, Orlando Magic forward and Turkish international Hedo Turkoglu is pondering offers from both Turkey and Spain. Keceli reports that Turk Telekom Ankara of Turkish Basketball League is offering the 32-year-old Turkoglu up to 300,000 euros ($450,000) per month. Dwight Howard Begins His Tour Of China

Hundreds of fans gathered at Di Tan Basketball Park in Beijing at the launch of his five-city promotional tour. He greeted fans with a Peking opera mask before participating in basketball clinics, drills and games throughout the day. Magic Announce Television Schedule
